Nike SB 2009 spring & summer releases

The Nike SB camp gears up for another year of massive releases including a new collection of apparel goods and introduction of the Zoom Veloce. The new sneaker silhouette follows a similar mold to that of their Tre A.D. with some sleek upper re-tooling. The garments range from a houndstooth pack to more technical fleece, showcasing a more forward thinking design aspect of the brands skateboarding campaign.

SSUR x UNDFTD

A solid foundation of New York’s scene, SSUR and UNDFTD team-up for another Vegas themed t-shirt. The lightning bolt design is featured in stunning style with images of a reinterpreted iconic Las Vegas Welcome sign also seen. The t-shirt will release on November 22nd both in-stores and online at UNDFTD.

CLAE Footwear

Clae hits us with their footwear collection for the 2008 Holiday season. Following the brands clean cut aesthetic, we see some expanded colorways of their classic models which have developed a strong following. The collection be available at Clae.com as well as premium retailers including Undefeated, Union, Barneys New York, and St. Alfred’s in Chicago.

WDW Jackets

The ongoing artist-inspired Beams T collection has become a well-known facet of Japanese fashion for its revolving door of emerging and established artists who all lend their aesthetics on various products, predominately t-shirts. In a new release, Beams T together with The Wonderful! Design works. have designed a varsity jacket. The jacket is decked out in various WDW icons seen on the chest, sleeves and back. Available now at Beams T.

New Porter Collection

Each season, ESSENTIAL DESIGNS and Porter come together to create a collection of accessories with a strong emphasis on material selection. This season we see two seperate fabrics put to use including a colorful plaid pattern and a colored denim pattern. The denim fabric is particular interesting as streaks of color side-by-side in a subtle manner against a light-colored traditional blue indigo. Wallets, coin purses and a Boston bag are all included in the collection. Available now at ESSENTIAL DESIGNS.

Nike Dunk 2009 Preview

With the new year just around the block, Nike previews some dunk hi and low releases for 2009. Certainly aimed to keep the faithful fulfilled, the drop features a flurry of color combination’s, prints, materials and all out craziness. Check them out after the jump!

DQM 5th year Anniversary make over

With the economy in shambles and street wear hitting it’s pinnacle, few shops have been able to stay afloat not to mention sustain a quality fan base. Daves Quality Meat has broken that barrier becoming a mainstay in the New York City culture since their opening five years ago. Celebrating a very successful half decade of memories, DQM has already dropped a sneaker in celebration this year as well as threw a hell of an anniversary party so it was only fitting to give their shop a new look. Take a look at DQM’s make over after the jump.

Nike SB Lance Mountain Clollection

The collaboration Nike Blazer between legendary figures Lance Mountain and Craig Stecyk was only a preview of things to come as we now see a full fledged collection from the ageless skate pro, Lance Mountain. Joining the Nike SB team, Mountain now takes his own spin on the SB Blazer model with a clean black and red silhouette. Combing different leather, the upper takes a tonal approach alongside quilted red lining and a crisp white midsole. Accompanying the kicks, is a small collection of gear incorporating Lance’s artwork. The lineup consists of a matching M-65 style denim jacket, t-shirt and fitted cap. This release can definitely be classified as a return to Nike SB’s original roots.

Nike Blazer Premium QK Pack

Although Nike doesn’t hold the NBA licensing rights, it doesn’t stop the brand from dropping these clever team colorway Blazers. Amongst the featured teams are the Golden State Warriors, Portland Trail Blazers, Boston Celtics, Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers and the almighty Los Angeles Lakers. The shoes feature an all-suede tonal upper alongside solid colored midsoles. The pack is scheduled to release in October 2008 at select quickstrike accounts worldwide including Mita Sneakers.

Futura designed

Futura Laboratories has collaborated with both Medicom Toy and Casio. For the project, Futura designed a multicolour Bearbrick and G-Shock. Both items will arrive at stores in December.

The flush F.AC.E window system that runs from the three-dimensionally overarched front of the caravan through to the rear, is unique to the Paganini.

A Silverline package features side walls in wood-free sandwich design, where an insulating core of XPS rigid foam plastic provides more static properties, strength, and stability at a relatively low weight.

One of the most important new constructions is the Tabbert premium roof. With a thickness of 6 cm this roof provides optimal thermal insulation and excellent noise protection when it rains.

Indirect lighting in the circumferential ceiling panels, inset LED spots, and reading lamps in the seat group and in the bedroom provide lighting not usually found in recreational vehicles.

Fragment design x Nike tennis

It’s no secret Hiroshi Fujiwara and fragment design’s participation alongside Nike on the Tennis Classic this year. The former Tennis Classic has seen no less then two collaborations in a short period of time including this upcoming four-pack of sneakers. In a design ethos which has come to symbolize fragment design, simplicity is at the root as we see solid-colorways marked by a perforated Swoosh, rich suede and a fragment design logo along the heel. The insole also features Zoom Air in an update to this 34 year old classic. These are set for an October 11th release at Nort Berlin however a full release to Tier 0 Nike retailers is expected.

Samsonite Black Label trunk

Making its premiere at colette Paris will be a Samsonite Black Label trunk. Created as a re-issue of 1920’s styled trunk’s, the piece is full encrusted with Crystallized Swarovski Elements. There will only be 30 pieces sold in Europe with no set retail yet, although most of us can only dream.

Maiden Noir - 2008 fall/winter releases

Maiden Noir hits us with some of their latest product for the September 2008 fall/winter offerings. Along with t-shirts and a flannel button-down, the Seattle collective kicks it up a notch with their outerwear collection. Three pieces make the cut including a wool hooded coat, leather joint and M-65 style coat. Including a few accessories as always, the drop combines well executed monotone pieces with flare yet minimally designed. The collection will soon be available at Havenshop.

INSA HEELS

London- based Insa Heels is a new collaborative high heels from graffiti artist Insa and shoe designer Ruth Shaw. “It is a bold backlash against mass production and aims to establish itself as a luxury footwear brand with limited edition colors, using only top end materials and European production. ‘Insa Heels’ are for the highly individual and discerning.”

This is the first style released by Insa Heels, a round toe stiletto with a 10cm heel, the style name ‘The Cigarette’. The heels features the iconic heel design printed into the leather and will be available in 3 limited edition colorways: the ‘Lewisham’: white base with black & fuchsia print with pink inner; the ‘Hackney’: pink base with black & white print with black inner; and the ‘Chelsea’: black base with gold print with black inner. All have a high gloss finish to the leather. They are premium leather throughout and produced to the highest standard in Europe. Out now!!
